A private transfer from Plovdiv to the Black Sea costs from 157 € (Burgas) and 176 € (Sunny Beach, Nesebar, Sozopol) by sedan, for the whole car. The drive is about 2:45 hours to Burgas and 3:15 hours to the resorts. Many guests see Plovdiv's old town first and then go to the sea, and some go on from the coast to Turkey.

Prices are per car, one way. The same prices apply from the coast back to Plovdiv. Plovdiv Airport has the Plovdiv price.

Which road we take

The driver takes the Trakia motorway east past Stara Zagora and Nova Zagora to Burgas. For Sunny Beach and Nesebar we continue north along the coast, for Sozopol south. In July and August the last part near the resorts is slow in the afternoon, so a morning start is easier.

From the sea to Turkey

Burgas is closer to Istanbul than Sofia. If your trip ends in Istanbul, you can go from the coast straight there:

Plovdiv first, the sea after

Plovdiv's old town, the Roman stadium and the Kapana quarter are worth one or two nights before the beach. A common plan is: fly into Sofia, take a car to Plovdiv, stay a couple of nights, then go to the coast in the morning and be on the beach after lunch. We can book both legs together, and on the way to the sea you can ask the driver for a short stop.

Sunny Beach, Nesebar or Sozopol?

Sunny Beach is the big resort with many hotels and long beaches. Nesebar is right next to it, with the old town on a small peninsula, so the price from Plovdiv is the same. Sozopol is south of Burgas, smaller and quieter, also at the same price. Pomorie is between Burgas and Nesebar and a little cheaper. If your hotel is in another place on the coast, such as Ravda, Sveti Vlas, Primorsko or Kiten, write the name in the price finder and you get the price straight away.

Families with children

For children we bring baby seats, child seats or boosters at no extra cost; just tell us the ages. On a three-hour drive the driver stops when the children need a break. For a family of five or six with beach luggage, the minivan is more comfortable than two cars.

Going back from the sea

Can we stop on the way?

Yes. A short stop for coffee or food is fine, just tell the driver. For a longer stop, tell us when you book.

Can you take us from the coast to Istanbul later?

Yes. From Burgas to Istanbul Airport the price is 245 € by sedan. Book it together with the trip to the sea or later.

We are 6 people with beach luggage. Which car?

A minivan takes up to 6 passengers, depending on the luggage. Plovdiv – Sunny Beach by minivan is 245 €. For more people we send a minibus.

Do you collect us from a hotel in Plovdiv old town?

Yes, from the hotel or the closest street that cars can reach. The driver helps with the luggage.

Can we travel with a dog to the sea?

Yes, pets travel together with their owner. Tell us about the pet when you book.

What time should we leave Plovdiv?

In summer a start between 8 and 10 in the morning avoids the slow traffic near the resorts in the afternoon.

Do you charge extra for child seats?

No. Child seats and boosters are free. Tell us the age of the children.
