How long is the drive and which way do we go?
You drive from Sofia on the Trakia motorway through Plovdiv, then via Haskovo and Svilengrad to the Turkish border at Kapitan Andreevo – Kapıkule, and on through Edirne to Istanbul Airport.
The drive takes about 5:30 h. The time at the border depends on the day and the season; in summer and on holidays it can take longer. Your driver knows the crossing and will tell you what to have ready.
