The drive
From the airport the driver takes the ring road and joins the Trakia motorway (A1) towards Plovdiv. There are no tolls to pay on top of the price and no border. Most of the trip is motorway, so the time is easy to plan: about 1:45 hours, a bit more on Friday evenings when people leave Sofia.
Plovdiv as the first stop of a longer trip
Plovdiv is a good base between Sofia and the borders with Turkey and Greece. From Plovdiv we drive on to:

Which car for which group
Most couples and families of three or four take the sedan. If you have two big suitcases each, or a pram and a travel cot, the minivan is the safer choice: it carries up to 6 passengers depending on the luggage, or fewer people with a very large boot. Groups of seven or eight take the minibus, and for bigger groups we send several cars or a bus. We have over 200 sedans, about 50 minivans and about 100 buses, so a car for a late flight is not a problem.
Returning to Sofia Airport for your flight home
The trip back from Plovdiv to Sofia Airport costs the same as the trip in. For a morning flight we usually plan to leave Plovdiv about four hours before departure: about 1:45 hours of driving plus time for check-in and security. Tell us the flight time and we suggest the pick-up time. If you fly home from Plovdiv Airport instead, the transfer from the city takes about 15 minutes.

Yes. Send both trips in one request and we confirm both. From Plovdiv to Istanbul Airport the price is 343 € by sedan.
Do I need a passport for Sofia Airport – Plovdiv?
Not for the trip itself, there is no border. You need it only if you go on to Turkey, Greece or another country.
How many suitcases fit in a sedan?
A sedan takes up to 4 passengers with normal luggage. With skis, bikes or a lot of suitcases we send a minivan, which works as a car with an extra-large boot.
Can the driver stop in Plovdiv old town or only at the hotel?
The driver takes you to the address you give. Some streets in the old town are closed to cars, so for those hotels the driver stops at the closest street and helps with the luggage.
What if my flight is cancelled or moved?
Write or call us as soon as you know. We move the transfer to the new time. There is no prepayment, so there is nothing to refund.
Can I pay for a group trip with several cars?
Yes. For a group we send as many cars as needed and you pay each driver, or tell us if one person pays for all.
Do I pay in advance?
No. There is no prepayment. You pay the driver for the trip.
