There is no motorway on this route. The car leaves the airport, goes round Timișoara and heads south through flat farmland and villages, then into the first hills of Caraș-Severin. The roads are quiet but narrow in places, and in winter the driver keeps an eye on fog in the plain and ice on the hill section.
